The Semi-rotary Offset label printer Multiprint 340/520 is a state-of-the-art label printer. This Zonten offset printing machine is manufactured with the latest technological innovations on the market. It has a robust and durable design and is easy to operate because it records data from the mobile desk, thanks to its touch screen.
Offset label printing
Offset label printing is a printing method in which the inked image is transferred (or “offset”) from a plate to an elastic blanket, and then to the printing surface. When used in combination with the lithographic process, which relies on the repulsion of oil and water, the offset method uses a flat (planar) image carrier on which the image to be printed obtains ink from ink rollers, while the non-printing areas attract a water-based film (called “fountain solution”), keeping the non-printing areas ink-free.
The digital “web” process feeds an expensive reel of paper through a large press machine in several sections, typically for several meters, which then prints continuously as the paper is fed through.
Semi-automatic operations
What’s more, this machine is also semi-automatic, which means that it can automatically change the printing plates without the need for an operator. This is a very important aspect, as it allows for a faster and more efficient printing process.

Optional flexo printing unit
Finally, this machine can be equipped with a flexographic printing unit, which makes it possible to print with both flexo and screen printing inks.

SERVO DRIVEN
Independent servo driven system in each unit to guarantee stable register at high printing speed.
PRINTING UNIT
With this offset label printing machine, use the most advanced inking system which has 23 inking rollers, four large diameter form rolls included and alcohol damping system to guarantee printing quality.
PRE-REGISTER SYSTEM
Based upon the printing length each unit will be automatically adjusted to its “ready” position. Through data sent from
the sliding control panel.
REGISTER SYSTEM
Each printing unit can remotely adjust register which includes lineal, lateral and skewing without stopping the press to save time and reduce the waste of substrate.
VACUUM BACKFLOW CONTROL UNWIND
Vacuum back flow cylinder should be able to prevent scratches on the back of P/S label during intermittent motion.
