ZONTEN EUROPE: 3 years since the inauguration of the headquarters

In 2019 Zonten Europe officially opened the doors of its European headquarters in Barcelona, despite having been operational since 2018. It was an unforgettable party with 160 guests where music, gastronomy and the announcement of one of the best printing solutions of the future accompanied the evening. Since then we have grown by facing challenges, improving our equipment and looking for excellence in our technical service.

Four years ago we presented ourselves for the first time as a label printing machine manufacturer of complete solutions for label production and three years ago, with that special party, we confirmed it by meeting with customers, personalities, staff and press and officially launching the project.

Today we want to celebrate Zonten Europe’s anniversary highlighting the growth we have been able to achieve thanks to our team and customers. The first quarter of 2022 has ended with very complex machines successfully installed and more Zonten machines in production. We currently have 30 Semi Rotary Offset installations and many other machines at more than 50 customers in Europe and LATAM. For the year 2022 we are looking forward to a very positive balance that coincides with the expansion of our factory in China.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we managed to meet them successfully with the implementation of a series of improvements such as our new corporate image, recently presented, a new press design with a large battery of advances, turning the Multiprint ZTJ into a semi-rotary offset press with high customisation possibilities, automation and very competitive for our printers.

Jordi Quera, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Zonten Europe says: “All this has been possible thanks to the collaboration and involvement of our customers in the project, because without them it would not be possible to achieve installations as complex as the ones we are currently working on. The reliability of the Multiprint, consolidated as the semi-rotary press with the best offset printing unit, as we predicted at the beginning. Our Multiprint press has become the ideal basis for combined press lines.

As for future prospects, Quera believes that “The steady growth of semi-rotary offset due to the high quality of the end product has made it the best competitive solution for short runs and, with good planning, printing units working from reel to reel without finishing are also the most economical and fastest solution for the demands of a wide variety of markets”.
